Walk-in clinic provides free vaccines
The New Philadelphia City Health District is partnering with the Tuscarawas County Public Library System to hold a walk-in COVID vaccine clinic on Thursday, June 24 from 3-6 p.m. at the main library’s meeting room A.
Anyone age 12 and up is welcome to stop in and receive a free COVID-19 vaccination. Both the one-dose Johnson & Johnson and the two-dose Pfizer vaccines will be available.
The one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine is approved for age 18 and up.
The two-dose Pfizer vaccine is approved for age 12 and up. Anyone age 12-17 will need a parent or guardian to sign consent. Persons receiving the Pfizer vaccine will be scheduled to return in three weeks (July 15, same time) to receive their second dose.
There is no cost, no insurance card and no registration required. A Spanish interpreter will be available.
