Caribou Coffee, a national premium coffeehouse and Panera Brands company, announced the opening of its new Caribou Cabin location in Wooster on Thursday, Nov. 17.

The location at 1840 Cleveland Road in Wooster is owned and operated by Wooster-based Mike Mariola Restaurants.

“We are honored to be partnering with such a high-quality brand and one that is aligned with our company values,” Mariola said. “We are excited to be bringing Caribou Coffee to Ohio, especially in our hometown of Wooster.”

The Wooster Caribou Cabin is just under 600 square feet. It features drive-thru and walk-up windows and an outdoor patio. The design was engineered to scale efficiency and guest experience while maintaining the quality of Caribou’s signature beverages.

Guests can get handcrafted drinks using only real ingredients, like real chocolate, vanilla and caramel. The signature mochas are crafted with real chocolate chips melted into espresso. Caribou also offers alternatives for noncoffee drinkers including teas and Caribou BOUsted beverages made with caffeine from coffee, guarana and ginseng.

Additionally, guests can find offerings from Caribou’s food menu including a variety of breakfast sandwiches, baked goods and snacks. There will be a grand opening fundraiser at the new Wooster location, where $1 from every transaction on Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20 will be donated to the Wayne County Humane Society.

The Wooster Caribou Cabin will open Thursday, Nov. 17 from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
