“Being Prepared for Emergency Situations When Living with Diabetes” will include information about how to handle low or high blood sugar and how to manage diabetes during natural disasters such as a tornado, flood or blizzard.

                        

Trinity Hospital Twin City’s Diabetes Wellness Program will host a free mini seminar titled “Being Prepared for Emergency Situations When Living with Diabetes” from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 16 at the hospital’s second floor St. Raphael Conference Room.

The mini seminar will include information about how to handle low or high blood sugar and how to manage diabetes during natural disasters such as a tornado, flood or blizzard.

Adults with diabetes and their friends and family are encouraged to attend the free mini seminar. Featured speaker will be diabetes educator LuAnn Beavers-Willis.
