The Step-by-Step Stroke Support Group at Wooster Community Hospital will meet in the hospital auditorium on Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 1-3 p.m.
Dealing with the effects of a stroke, whether youre the patient or a family member, can be challenging. Stroke survivors and family members gather each month to share experiences and support one another. Arica Betson, RD, LD, of the hospitals nutrition services department, will lead a discussion on Strategies for Surviving Holiday Eating. Bring your questions, and learn how to maintain healthy living during the holidays.
Anyone who is a stroke survivor or a family member or caregiver of a stroke survivor is invited to attend. Join for a time of encouragement and sharing.
Wooster Community Hospital is certified as a primary stroke center by The Joint Commission, and provides the Step-by-Step Stroke Support Group as a community service.
