Applications for Dress A Child program available
Dress A Child has served the children in Tuscarawas County for over 50 years.
To apply for help from Dress A Child for clothing assistance for the 2024-25 school year, students must be in kindergarten through 12th grade and attend a building location in one of Tuscarawas County’s schools. Family income must meet the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Applications can be picked up at any of the schools beginning May 1. Applications also are available for pickup at the Dover Public Library or all five locations of the Tuscarawas County public libraries.
Applications must be filled out completely and dropped off at any of the libraries by July 15. Applications will be reviewed starting July 16. Families that do not meet the requirements will be notified. Several dates and locations will be set up in mid-August to pick up gift cards.
Dress A Child has served the children in Tuscarawas County for over 50 years. It began by taking just a few children shopping in the 1970s. This last school year they helped a total of 2,860 students. They are beginning to collect donations for this year.
