The Tuscarawas County Public Library, in partnership with HARCATUS Tri-County Community Action Agency, will offer free tax clinics at the library’s main location on Saturdays: Jan. 21, Feb. 4, Feb. 11, Feb. 18, Feb. 25, March 4, March 18, March 25, April 1, April 8 and April 15 from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. The clinics also will run on Tuesdays: Jan. 17, Jan. 24, Jan. 31, Feb. 7, Feb. 14, Feb. 21, Feb. 28, March 7, March 14, March 21, March 28, April 4 and April 11 from 5-7 p.m. “The free clinics are for those who earned under $65,000 in 2016 filing as a single or $95,000 filing as a joint spouse,” adult and teen services manager Robyn Guedel said. According to Guedel, individuals must be willing to enter their own tax information with the assistance of a trained Ohio Benefit Bank tax counselor. Taxes are due by the April 15 deadline.
