The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious person on SR 83 in Mechanic Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a prowler on TR 451 in Washington Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle on TR 178 in Clark Township. Accidents: The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident on Walnut St. in Walnut Creek Township. The Ohio State Patrol handled this report. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident on SR 39 in Monroe Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident on E. Main St. in Berlin. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a one vehicle injury accident on CR 22 in Knox Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident on SR 39 in Hardy Township. Arrests: Richard Wayne Conner, 30, of New Philadelphia was arrested by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for Theft. He was released on a $2,500 cash or surety bond. Julie Marie Rusyn, 35, of Massillon was arrested by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear. She was released on a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
