QB play costs OSU game at Purdue

I am normally not one to point fingers and play the blame game when games are lost, but after watching the Ohio State Buckeyes trip, stumble and fall flat in Lafayette, Saturday against Purdue, the one individual I saw who was most responsible for the 26-18 loss to the Boilermakers was quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
He fumbled twice and threw a pair of interceptions, negating any chances the Buckeyes had of coming back against Purdue.
Granted, the offensive line did not play as well as it could have, but Pryor looked lost every time he went back to pass.
He would lock on to one receiver, DeVier Posey, and when he wasn’t open, Pryor would panic, and then get sacked, or worse try and force a ball in where it didn’t fit.
In my opinion, the Buckeyes need to consider moving Pryor to another position where they can best take advantage of his athleticism. He is an outstanding open-field runner, but as a quarterback, he just doesn’t seem to have the vision needed or the patience to be a drop-back passer, which is what OSU’s system is set up for.
When they do run him out of the pocket, he is generally more successful. Either they need to change personnel, or alter their offense to best take advantage of Pryor’s skills.
