Grace Brethren hosts hoops tournament

A basketball tournament will be held on Saturday, March 6, at Grace Brethren Church in Wooster. The first-place team wins team and individual trophies; team trophies will be awarded to second- and third-place teams. An MVP Trophy will also be awarded. The entry fee for the tournament is $160. The Holmes County Dog Warden’s office will be checking for dog licenses in the Holmesville area. Not having a license for your dog could result in a fine of $124. Anyone who has not yet purchased a license for their dog may do so for $28 at the Holmes County Dog Warden’s office or auditor’s office.

Margaret C. Boscarillo, 70, of New Philadelphia, died Feb. 28, 2010, at her home, with her loving family around her. She had battled cancer for several years. Born June 23, 1939, in Cleveland, Margaret was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Mikulec. She graduated from St. Stephen’s High School, Cleveland, and had resided in New Philadephia since 1970.
