Holmes Co. shooting club elects officers
The Holmes County 4-H Shooting Sports Club met Saturday, March 15 at The Eastern Holmes Sportsman’s Club.
The meeting was opened by introductions of those in attendance. The United States flag pledge was led by Lucas Bailey. The 4-H flag pledge was led by Zander Croskey. The treasurer’s report was shared by club adviser Patricia Lang.
Community service projects for the 2025 4-H year were discussed. Projects for the upcoming year were discussed by 4-H members.
Lang shared the year-end inventory, year-end financial report and the club charter, which have all been submitted to the OSU Extension Office. The club’s safety logo also was shared by Lang.
An election of officers was held: President Croskey; Braxton Tish, vice president and health officer; Bailey, secretary and recreation officer; J.C. Baker, treasurer and safety officer; and Lang, news reporter.
The next meeting will be Saturday, April 12 at Eastern Holmes Sportsman’s Club from noon to 2 p.m.
