Tope, Leid earn TOPS awards
On Aug. 28, TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with pledges. Leo Tope was best weekly loser. He said to drink plenty of water and back off sweets. Mabel Leid was best monthly loser with Tope coming in second.
Bonnie Porter gave a program from TOPS Organization titled A Helping Hand, which said people need to think of others and encourage them with a cheery greeting, a warm smile, or a phone call, card or letter. Congratulate each person who loses, reminding them they are well on their way to their goal. Thank your KOPS members for their determination, persistence and consistency to maintain their goal weight.
TOPS meets Wednesdays at the Nashville Global Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
