On Oct. 16, TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with pledges. Janice Tope was best weekly loser. She said to exercise four times next week. Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS.

Bonnie Porter gave a program from the TOPS website on the multitude of benefits of a banana. A single banana has 29 grams of carbohydrate, dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and potassium. Bananas offer a balanced approach to sound nutrition. They are fat free, saturated fat free, cholesterol free and a good source of fiber.

TOPS meets Wednesdays at the Nashville Global Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
